Arizona at it's best and the kids love finding treasures in the sand. We the parents were informed that the water was to cold to go for a swim so only toes were dipped just to try it out.

We were with Rhees' and Grandma Connie along with a the Doughty boys...always a pleasure! You never know what kind of path Bryan will find to go explore and there is always a treat at the end.

Our family outing was a trip to Sabino Canyon and what a suprize at the end of the hike. We found this fun little beach by the river to play in. Not bad for a family photo:)

The kids love this time of the year, Science fair time! Sadie won 2nd place in her class with her solar oven made out of a pizza box. Reid also did a balancing act with a paper clown with wing nuts for its hands and made it go across a soda pop high rope pretty cool!
Reid and Preston are Cubscouts and lovin' every minute of it. Here they are receiving their Bobcat award. Sorry this is the best picture we have!
Justin just finished preschool and is jumping out of his skin to start kindergarten. This is his graduation where Justin was asked to lead in the pledge.
Everyone including Jared helps to make sure Waynes tummy is always full. Grandma Land said to make sure his fatty rolls don't get skinny. Wayne definately has rolls.

Our children love reptiles I just wish Dad would stick to lizzards and toads.
So you think your husband brings home treasures from work Mine brings home things that require other living things to eat. Just another day at the Merrell casa. Gopher snake.

We decided to make it a baptism and blessing day for the Merrell clan. So Bryan dunked and named a son all in one. We really enjoyed all those who came and joined us.

Reid's Baptism

What a time we have had trying to get this guy baptized but we finally got the dunking done. Reid was so excited about his decision to get baptized that he almost drove me crazy about when it would happen. So when Wayne came two weeks early and on the weekend of Reid's origional baptism date I wasn't sure how to tell Reid he would have to wait. But when He saw his little brother all was forgiven.

So this is my first attempt to blog and what a fun way to share with everyone our new baby's pictures. Wayne Thomas was born on April 14th 2008 he is officially six weeks into our hearts and we are so excited to have him with our family.
